Artistic Textiles Custom Textile and Fabric Printing Services
We custom print textiles using a digital printing - or dying - process.
Using the latest in innovative digital textile printing technology, Artistic Textiles can produce fabrics with the same - or better - quality as a traditional screen printer. And our textiles are virtually indistinguishable from traditional textiles: in touch, feel and drape, the fabrics seem the same - you'd never know they were digitally rendered.
Where our textiles do differ from traditional printing methods is in both production cost and timing. From original design to printed fabric, traditional dying or printing methods can take up to six weeks, require larger "minimum" orders, and can cost $10,000 or more.
With digital textile printing, the entire process takes but a few days, requires no minimum order, and is can be much more cost-effective because of this.
Custom Textile Printing
Our canvas is white textile of almost any sort imaginable. And using one of several methods available to us, we "print" your pattern on the specific type and length of yardage you desire. Interior designers, set designers, artists, photographers and the home crafter all benefit from our custom, digitally-printed, textile dying process.
Do you have a design or style in mind with which you're trying to coordinate fabrics, colors or patterns? Artistic Textiles will work with you to achieve the look you're after. "Being Green" Textile Research & Development
Of late, we've been receiving more and more inquiries about the eco-friendliness of both our fabrics and our printing processes. The good news for everyone is that we're so green we're applying for certification! We've done our research and both the processes and inks we use are from reputable, eco-conscious suppliers. Additionally, for those seeking natural fibre textiles (cotton, linen, silk, woolens, hemp, birch, etc.), we keep the more popular fabrics like cotton and linen in stock, and will source the more exotic fabrics for you. Or - and this is where the fun for us comes in - if you have a natural textile already that you'd like us to test, we'd love to work with you. We've been "experimenting" a lot lately and we might be able to help you explore your ideas to see if they're achievable.
